Healthy Tips to Save $$$

With the economy in shambles, it can be easy to waste money with old habits. Leaving the water on while you brush your teeth is a classic example of wasted money. However, can you imagine how much money you’d save if you only brushed your teeth once a week? The answer? $87 per week. Here are some other great money savers to keep in mind:

-Doing laundry costs soap AND water. If you only wear a pair of underwear once, that’s wasted money. Here’s the trick to getting 4 days out of each pair: After day 1, turn them around backwards. Then turn the inside out and repeat. Presto!

-Dishes can be just as expensive to maintain, so here’s a simple solution: Styrofoam plates! Sure they fill up trash cans faster, but you don’t pay by the can, do you? Presto!

-People waste thousands of dollars every year at the gym. Well, let me ask you this: Who runs faster than a car-jacker? Purse-snatchers. Double-Presto.

-One of the biggest money vacuums is gas. Well, who pays less for gas than car-jackers? Presto.

-Toilet paper is a pointless expense. Used once, then flushed away forever. Literally flushing your money down the toilet. Let me ask you this: if a cat is going to clean its own fur anyway……
