Highlights from Leaving my Dog out of her Cage
We normally cage the dog when no one’s home, but we are trying to get away from this. Round two happened today. I ran to the grocery store. I taped it. While I won’t post the 23 minutes of footage (due to how boring it is), here are the numbers: -2 altercations with ‘Big Cat.’ -4 minutes standing motionless on the arm of the couch. -31 Laps around the house. -0 toys...

About the iPad.
Wow, this is really well written. His thoughts on flash just made me certain that I’m buying one. mangosquash: A little more enthusiastic about the product than I am, but it’s worth a read. I’m not willing to make any bold predictions, but it will be interesting to see how this thing goes. cameronbanga: I’ll put this plainly.  You’re missing the point behind the iPad. It’s been only...

"Pharmaceutical Companies are Stupid" and other...
I decided to start taking vitamins again. The wii said it was a good idea to help lose weight. However, I had to find the right ones for me. The choice was simple: One-a-day Men’s health formula. It says on the bottle that they’re an official sponsor of the MLB. I knew I should get them because they could help me hit like McGwire. Also vaguely says, “supports heart...

...So Glad I've Moved On...
scootymcscoots: I just saw a guy wearing this fur vest at a bar and shared some comments with some people I was with, which poked fun at his blatant disregard for both class and tact.  A couple things that were said included, but were not limited to:  ”I haven’t seen an inVESTment that bad since Enron” (which everyone was too drunk to comprehend) and “That must be from the Aeroposale’s ‘Daniel...

My Own Stereotypes
I watched Russell Peters tonight for a few intolerable moments. He’s a middle-eastern comic. Like many minority comics, his material was 100% race based. Because he’s not white, he was able to “joke about:” -Asians liking DDR -Arabs being scary -Black people being scary -White people being scary -Taxi Driving At one point, he even singled out an Asian man and everyone...

Taco Bell doesn't need to simulate Mexico
Last night, I hung out with Scooter and Bryan (his brother), and we were working on finishing the 2nd episode of our show and the future of it. At one point, we put our think tank on hold and went to Taco Bell. As we pulled up, we decided that we would eat inside. It had been several years since either of them had sat inside a Taco Bell, which is weird. I’m a guy who enjoys sitting inside....

My Snowed-In Survival Kit
It snowed over 6 inches today in St. Louis. Schools are closed, businesses are closed, roads are closed. It’s a winter wonderland out there. In here, it’s just a warm happy animal haven. However, not everyone finds it as relaxing as me. People were scurrying last night to get to the store and “stock up” before they were inevitably encased in over 45 feet of snow. I looked...

If I did a stand up show
I recently had the pleasure of going to an open mic night at a Funny Bone club. I have seen George Carlin, Jim Gaffigan, and Dane Cook live. I had never seen a show with so many comics before. I listen to far too much comedy that’s recorded, and I have no problem listening to hours of bad comedy for one or two good gems. However, it had never really occurred to me that I could do anything in...
